Microsoft aims to take on Google and its Google Docs and in its bid to woo customers it has come out with “affordable” Office 365 subscription packaged aimed at small and medium enterprises.
Small and Medium enterprises can now subscribe to Office 365 for only $ 5 per month per month, a bit lower than the $ 6.99 tag for the Office 365 Personal Subscription. This rate is applicable only if the business subscribes to Office 365 for one year and for this price you can only access Office Online. Users cannot install PowerPoint, Excel or Word when they opt for the cheapest Office 365 Business Essentials Package but they do get 1 TB storage space and 50 GB for inbox. Also, if users opt for a monthly payment price they have to pay $ 6.00. Pay a little more at $ 8.25 per month but for an annual subscription and that entitles you to use Office 365 Business, which allows you to install Office 365 on up to five computers, including access on tablets and smartphones. However, in this case users do not get the facility of social networking, 50GB inbox and online meeting available in the Office 365 Business essentials package.
In either case if users make a commitment to subscribe for a year but feel like dropping out then they $ 10 per month.
The third offer is for Office 3656 Business Premium at a monthly subscription per user of $ 12.50 provided you commit for an annual package or $ 15 on a monthly basis. In this case users get installable version of Office 365 plus the 50GB inbox, social networking, 1TB storage and online meeting plus access on tablets and smartphones.
